My Son, the Mudder!

May 4, 2011

Elias is mudding the screw holes in the sheetrock. It’s not every kid that can say he helped build the house he is living in!

He is definitely learning how to do different things. He has also been helping to put up sheet-rock and has done some smaller pieces by himself!

That is great. An experience that will stay with him for the rest of his life. Plus, it is a bit of fun playing with the mud. Just like play dough. LOL Great to see you house coming together and I am envious of that kitchen and cupboards. Living in a one bedroom seniors complex is pretty close to living in your RV. Our kitchen is about eight feet by five feet and that include the fridge and stove. and cupboards. Convenient though. I can stand at the counter on one side and reach the sink on the other side. There is only room for one of us in the kitchen at a time. I miss having a big kitchen with loads of cupboard space and counter top. Glad to see you finally getting out of that little RV and have room to walk around.
    God Bless

Boy, that IS a tiny kitchen! It is very nice having that kitchen. We plan to build an island, also, that can roll around. We wanted an open space for fellowships and gatherings.

Yes, this experience will stay with him. Not many kids can say they are living in a house they helped to build!
