A Yard Sale and a Whole Lotta Love!

While I don’t really like to draw attention to ourselves, I do want to acknowledge what others are doing for us. A homeschooling mom has worked with others to organize a community yard sale at a church to raise funds for the house. It is being held on the 20th of November.

This whole house is being done through the donations of others. They are donating their labor and their expertise. They are donating materials or doing fundraisers to help get materials. There is such an outpouring of love from Yahweh’s community toward us. It is simply amazing and we are very blessed.

One thing that is really awesome is that many of the people helping do not know each other. Many of them have never even met us. They are from different congregations and groups of people in the area. Our own congregation has been very helpful, but they cannot do it alone any more than we can do it alone. The body of Yeshua has been coming together to help us…even from out-of-state!

Yahweh is doing a wonderful work. That is why we refer to it as Yahweh’s house. It is the house He is building. It is His house. We are naming it “Beit-Shalom”…House of Peace. We want it to be more than simply a place to live. We want it to be a place of love, of safety and of ministry to those in our community.
