Beit-Elohim Foundation Is Cleared!

August 23, 2009

Wow! What a day! People we knew from different places came over and helped us to get the material moved off of the foundation area! Yay! It all got cleared, which means that we can call the one contractor on Monday and let him know that we are ready for him to come out and dig the perimeter foundation trench.  We could NOT have done this without help. Every single person played an important part. THANK YOU ALL SOOOOOOOO MUCH!

Here are some pictures.

In this one, you can see the two sheets of plywood that were at the bottom of the stacks that have been moved away.

There are a bunch of screws and assorted hardware that spilled that needed to be picked up.

Thank you SO much, guys for helping to move wood and helping with the tedious picking up of the hardware.

Along side of the stacks of plywood were a also doors, windows and a lot of 2x4x16’s that were also already moved by this point.

Oh gosh, what is the scripture I am thinking of… a Psalm…. “This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful in His sight. I think 22. I’ll look it up… but, it is truly His handiwork and so beautiful when brother come together to build a home whose foundation walls are set in a mortar that truly holds together and lasts for eternity.
Count it all for joy! Gayle
