This Is One Bold & Courageous Young Girl!

February 12, 2009

I was amazed to watch this young girl give this presentation.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

What was really sad was how her parents had to turn off the comments on the video because of people being hateful and intolerant of her right to say what she was saying. Hmmm…I guess the pro-tolerance people only want there to be tolerance if it happens to agree with their viewpoint.

What many do not seem to understand, either, is that there are many who would actually love to adopt these children. In fact, there are adoption waiting lists like you would not believe…even for children with disabilities. Sadly, the process of adoption has been made so expensive that many cannot afford it. If you really want to help so called “unwanted” children…don’t kill them…make the adoption process less expensive!

She also makes a good point about where the choice really starts. For many, it starts with the act that produces the child in the first place. It used to be that fidelity in marriage and serious lifelong commitments were the norm, not the exception. Of course, that requires self sacrifice and thinking of others more than yourself…you know…real unconditional love…things not nearly as common as they once were. Where has nobility gone? Honor? Integrity? A good name?

Now things have been turned around and it seems like loving of oneself above all else is the norm and screw ( pun intended) whomever you want in the process of feeding your own feelings and desires. Gone are things like responsibility and doing what is right…even if it IS hard.

Sadly, it is the unborn babies who really get the short end of the stick. At least, in most cases, both of the parents were in it by choice…not always…but in the overwhelming huge number of cases…yes it was by choice. The babies, on the other hand, have no choice. None. Zip. Nada. They just get ripped apart or burned with chemicals or even worse in the case of partial birth abortion.

People’s ability to be cruel and inhumane toward others never ceases to amaze me.  Watch out, though! Don’t you DARE spay a cat or dog that is pregnant! It seems that the animals on this planet have more rights than the people who care for them.

Thank you for sharing this video. I can only pray it helps someone to make the right decision. Abortion is nothing short of murder. I know many murderers. They will tell you so themselves. And they definitely regret it. Our families, our towns, cities, states, nations, and world are the worse for this pervasive lie that it is a “harmless quick fix” to a “problem”. We need to take responsibilities for our choices and encourage others to do the same. But only with God moving in their hearts will most people be able to understand the love of God, and it is this love of God that will help people make the right choices – to not have sex outside o marriage and, once pregnant, not kill the child.Pray God works in the hearts of these women.

Yes! Sadly, responsibility has gone out the window for an entitlement laden society who thinks they will answer to no one but themselves.

It is amazing how personal responsibility is almost nonexistant in our society. People are more than willing to blame others, though. Its always everyone elses fault. How sad it will be when these people face their Creator.

My heart breaks for those who will be in that position. I am far from perfect, but I do keep trying to check myself to make sure I am not passing the buck on something that I should be taking responsibility for. As a survivor, I can see that there have been some extenuating circumstances in my life. Yet, I still made the decision. It is a delicate balance at times…but I am determined to acknowledge the things that have effected the decisions I have made, whilst still taking responsibility for my part in those decisions. (Hope that made sense!) LOL

What you said makes perfect sense.

I think few of us grow up in or even live in perfect situations, yet we are still responsible for our choices. 🙂
