A Beautiful Day!

Today was a beautiful day. The temps were springlike. It is amazing to go from below normal temps to above normal temps. Gosh, I hope we get an early spring. Winter came early. We have never had a real spring in the three years we have been here. It has gone from really cold to very hot. I hope that this year we will have an early spring and a real spring.

It took a couple of days, but we finally got the hose out from under the snow and ice so that we could do some laundry today. I so hate going to the laundromat, so that was really nice.

The ice is slowly melting on the driveway. It was so thick that it is taking days to melt. We are talking about inches thick. It is amazing to us that we can get ice on a gravel driveway that is at such a steep slant. Even once it melts, we won’t be able to drive it for a bit due to the mud that will be left behind. Dave is going to have to respread some of the gravel. Hopefully, we have enough.

Well, that is my update for today! I hope everyone is enjoying some warmth after all this cold…or perhaps some cooling if you are in the desert!
